As a junior in college, I was able to serve as the University of Georgia’s Student Merchandising Association’s Head of Public Relations. In this roll, I promoted all club events through social media management, photography, brand creation, marketing, and overall communication.

My largest project while working as Head of Public Relations for the Student Merchandising Association was the creation, branding, casting, choreography, and overall promotion of the Spring 2021 Fashion Show: Victorian Dreams.

My first priority in my role as Head of Public Relations for UGA’s Student Merchandising Association was to reach our target audience and appeal to their sense of aesthetics. My primary way of accomplishing this was through Instagram. In my time directing the club’s Public Relations, I grew our social media presence by 64% (over 500+ followers). This was achieved through carefully curating our feed, stories, and all promotional materials.
