Fall 2022 Capsule Wardrobe Essentials
Fall hit New York City quickly this week, and with it, brought a change in wardrobe. It’s time to pull out our warm clothes, but let’s be honest—early-20-something sized closets can fit about 2.5 wool sweaters. Maybe a pair of boots if you’re lucky. My solution? A capsule-esque wardrobe.
BARBIECORE
Barbie is knocking down our door this fall—fashionably speaking. Sparkles, hyper-femineity, and that signature pink all found their way into our summer wardrobes and are only gaining traction as the weather cools off. After presentations at New York, London, and Milan fashion weeks this month, it is clear “Barbiecore” is here to stay.

On Tuesday night, I had the pleasure of joining a mixed group of influencers, editors, and other industry professionals in viewing Cynthia’s Spring/Summer 2023 Ready-to-Wear collection. This season’s show took place right off the Hudson River at the golden hour of sunset. The combination of gleaming sun on cruising sailboats with the gentle breeze hinting at fall was nothing short of a magic setting for last night’s show.
